Training Opportunity - Blended Learning
The British Council India is looking for Celta qualified teachers to volunteer for a training programme, which will be fully funded by us. On successful completion, candidates get a certificate as an e-moderator. Successful candidates may then be eligible to apply for a British Council blended teaching job.

Role overview
Do you want to be a blended learning teacher?
If you can answer YES to these questions*, you might qualify for a fully-sponsored British Council training course:
- Have you got a Cambridge CELTA?
- Have you got teaching experience?
- Can you demonstrate interest in/experience of e-learning or remote teaching?
The training will take place in July - August (approximately six hours a week for eight weeks). You must commit to being available during this period.
On successful completion of this course, you will get a certificate as an e-moderator and e-learning teacher. You may also be eligible to apply for a British Council blended teaching job.

Locations
The training programme will be conducted online. However, blended learning involves both face-to-face and online teaching. Therefore, we are primarily looking for teachers based in and around Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Bangalore. Teachers in neighbouring cities may also apply.
Blended Learning
Blended learning is the newest British Council teaching programme in India which combines face-to-face classroom methods with e-learning activities and remote teaching. myEnglish, the British Council’s new course for students, consists of the following:
