Join us for an evening of engaging conversations and behind-the-scenes insights into the writing life with two accomplished authors, Bee Rowlatt and Amrita Tripathi. This dynamic session will delve into their journeys from journalism to fiction, exploring how they juggle multiple roles while creating impactful narratives that resonate with readers worldwide.

About the Speakers

Bee Rowlatt MBE: Bee Rowlatt is a celebrated writer, journalist, and cultural programmer at the British Library. One Woman Crime Wave marks her debut in fiction, following her acclaimed travelogue In Search of Mary, which received the Society of Authors’ K Blundell Award. She is the co-author of the bestseller Talking About Jane Austen in Baghdad and has contributed to Fifty Shades of Feminism (Virago). Recently honored with an MBE for her services to women's rights, Bee is a true advocate for change and storytelling. Meet her at @BeeRowlatt 

Amrita Tripathi: Amrita Tripathi is an author, entrepreneur, and podcaster with a passion for mental health and leadership. She is the Founder-Editor of The Health Collective, a platform dedicated to mental health and storytelling, and the founder of Tap in Tribe, focusing on women in leadership. Her third novel, The Other Sister, is a testament to her storytelling prowess. The books written by Bee and Amrita can be pre-purchased and participants will have the opportunity to get their copies signed by the authors.
