Six queer and multicultural poets from India and the UK explore their differing experiences and ask how language can be ‘queered’ to better reflect them.
Language is a Queer Thing is supported by British Council as part of the India/UK Together Season of Culture and in partnership with The Queer Muslim Project, India, Verve Poetry Festival, UK, and BBC Contains Strong Language.
The project features the talented poets Amani Saeed (UK) and Megha Harish (India), Ifẹ Grillo (UK) and Anil Pradhan (India), Sanah Ahsan (UK) and Garfield Dsouza (India).
Their new collaborative work, showcased at BBC Contains Strong Language in the UK, will now be at Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai International Lit fest 2022.
Catch the poets in Mumbai at workshops, interactions and performances, showcasing their original and collaborative works.
