Vanita Chopra, Teacher Educator, India
Dr Vanita Chopra has been an English language and Education consultant with the British Council, India, since 2017 and has 17+ years of experience in teacher education. She previously worked as an Assistant Professor in the teacher education department of Delhi University colleges. She enjoys exploring different CPD activities as a continuous learner. She has authored two books and published research on mentoring Teacher Research, Language Assessment, and Teacher Development. Her research interests include mentoring teacher research, language pedagogy, assessment, and teacher capacity building.
Isha Anand, English Language Teacher, Government Model High School, Chandigarh
Isha has been an English language teacher with the Chandigarh Education Department for the last 11 years. She also serves as a State Resource Person and has contributed to important international and national projects such as PISA, NISHTHA (NCERT), DIKSHA, NAS, and PM e-Vidya. She specializes in developing study materials, including workbooks and e-content, for young learners of the English language and has collaborated with SCERT Chandigarh. For the past five years, she has worked as a CBSE master trainer, having trained over 1000 teachers in item designing and writing. In 2022, she received the prestigious scholarship from the British Council and the University of Leeds, U.K. as part of which she completed her MA TESOL degree from the University of Leeds in September 2023.
