World Book Day is a celebration! It's a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly it's a celebration of reading. In fact, it's the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books & reading and marked in over 100 countries all over the world. The British Council Library Ahmedabad is celebrating the World Book Day with following events and activities this year;
Create your own Book Competition: Write and illustrate
For the age group 8-12 years
Theme ‘My Dream’
Time 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Drawing Competition: Theme ‘Colours around me’
For the age group 4-7 years
Time: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
