The Learning Sectors programme is designed for learners from the ages of seven to sixteen in primary and secondary schools (CBSE, ICSE and State Board) in India.
Selected schools will be matched with an international partner school in the UK, to work on a joint project over a school term.
You and your partner teacher will join other teachers on the project for a series of four webinars over three months. Your partnership facilitator will help you and your partner teacher get to know each other and guide you on your learning journey. They’ll complement this with advice, professional development and help with any questions. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from other partnership teachers and share effective practice.
Back in the classroom, you will support your learners to find out about their partner school and then work together on a STEM challenge to solve a real-world issue. We provide flexible, high-quality resources so that you can develop a project that suits your own curriculum.
Students will be inspired by real-life examples of people working at Formula 1, seeing for themselves the wide range of career opportunities in STEM and the diverse backgrounds of professionals in those roles.
At the end of your project, you will be invited to submit a report, and your school will win a certificate from British Council and Formula 1.
Our next project will run from April to September 2025. Webinars will take place in early April, May, June and mid-September.
Apply by 15 February 2025 to take part.
