The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the leading scholarship programme focused on sustainable development for the government of the United Kingdom (UK). Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO), it supports co-creating research, innovation, and solutions to advance sustainable development priorities across the Commonwealth and beyond.

Over the last 65 years, the CSC has supported over 5,300 Indians through Commonwealth Scholarships or Fellowships to study in the UK or at a UK institution.

At the end of their studies, Commonwealth Alumni join a thriving global, national, and local alumni network. In this exhibition, you will learn about the extraordinary work and achievements of Commonwealth Alumni from India.

From improving mental health education and advancing public transport services in remote corners of the country, to implementing climate adaptation measures and promoting financial empowerment, this exhibition, while exploring a wide gamut of themes and research areas, has one thing in common- how to make the world a better place. This is the core spirit of Commonwealth Scholarships.

Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships are aimed at talented individuals who have the potential to make change. The CSC offers around 800 awards for postgraduate study and professional development each year. Information for applicants.
