About the Artwork:

Scorched Earth, Scorched Earth 0.2

Rice is a staple worldwide, but its waste, particularly 'parali,' contributes to severe pollution in India. Farmers burn this rice straw to clear fields quickly, worsening air quality. This artwork raises awareness about circular agriculture by using paddy straw in textiles, promoting biodegradable products and seasonal employment for farmers.
