M. Ramalingam is an Artist with considerable achievement to his credit. He has been deaf since birth and was later diagnosed with Usher Syndrome (Narrowing/ Tunnel vision). His work over the past 44 years and his achievements include receiving a B.F.A in Visual Art- Painting from the Govt College of Arts, Chennai apart from numerous grants and awards, including an artist-in-residence.
