Aastha is leading the brand and corporate communications for the British Council in India, since 2019. She plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction for the brand in India, with a keen focus on integrating content-driven, creative approaches responding to the evolving media and audience trends. She has led on a number of high decibel campaigns in India for the organisation; most recent ones being the British Council’s landmark cultural programme that marked India’s 75th anniversary.
Prior to the British Council, Aastha has spent a decade in some of India’s top PR firms, gaining holistic experience in managing communications and reputation for global brands across sectors like FMCD, FMCG and alcobev, personal technology, luxury, auto and consulting.
